Sphere Eclipse C 32 Channel Console
For sale is a rare vintage Sphere Eclipse C 32 channel analog mixing console. These are fantastic sounding consoles and this one is loaded with 32 channels of the sought-after 10-band Sphere graphic equalizers. A highly desirable and rare console. The 900 series graphic EQs sell for as high as $1500 or more per channel, $1500 x 32 = $48,000 in value alone for the EQs. It appears to have 4x Sphere 920 graphic EQs with HP toggle switches and 28x Sphere 910 graphic EQs (notice 3 push buttons on the left side of each EQ, whereas a 900 model would only have the top two pushbuttons on the left side). Add another 32 channels of mic preamps approximately $500 per channel for another $16,000 or more value. So in parts alone this console is worth more than the asking price. This was in use a couple years ago in a professional studio environment before being decommissioned and put into climate controlled storage. It was fully functional during studio use but could likely use some maintenance / servicing check-up, and is being sold as-is, with no warranties or guarantees. A new owner of any vintage desk in general should be prepared to do regular servicing. Our techs are very familiar with Sphere consoles and we can have it professionally gone through by our techs and serviced as needed before sale for additional cost.
